Summary:

Education and/or Experience:

*Cald-weld or other thermo-weld training helpful.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
*Perform tower construction activities including assembling/erecting towers, installing antennas, mounting hardware, installing coax and connectors, grounding, testing, positioning, and optimizing antennas and lines.
*Read Plans, Site Plans and Tower Drawings.
*Install, connect and test underground and above ground grounding systems.
*Complete work in a timely and efficient manner by planning, prioritizing, and mobilizing staff, materials to meet schedule.
*Ensure Foreman is apprised of construction progress, concerns, and deviations from plans or established schedule.
*Identify all materials and other resources needed to complete project.
*Identify construction "punch list" of items to be remedied and ensure they are completed prior to customer's inspection.
*Maintain and enforce all SBA and OSHA safety practices, perform daily job-site safety inspections on equipment prior to operation.
*Work with Superintendents and Foreman to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials.
*Perform other related duties as required.

The Tower Technician is responsible for climbing structures (monopoles, lattice towers, etc.) at wireless communication sites to perform antenna adjustments and quality assurance audits to ensure the client's site meets their specifications.

*Safely climb with confidence all climbable structures and hoist materials and tools aloft using established industry OSHA sanctioned safety techniques.

*Verify cellular antenna azimuths and mechanical tilts and adjust as directed.
*Change out existing antennas with new antennas as directed.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

*Telecommunications tower climbing certification from one of the following tower climbing training organizations: Gravitec, DBI/SALA, Tractel, Miller/Troll, Safety Connections, ComTrain, Tech Safety Lines, Inc. or equivalent demonstrable experience.
*Good understanding of fall protection systems and tower rescue techniques.
*Demonstrated experience and understanding of wireless antenna installation and/or wireless telecommunications site construction.
*Able to proficiently operate a personal computer with Microsoft Office software, Microsoft Outlook and Internet.
*Correctly complete timesheets and company required forms.

Work Environment
The employee will likely be placed in a field or home office while spending the majority of his/her time working at wireless communication sites. Field office and wireless communication sites are typically informal and short on amenities. Able to work outdoors and standing for long periods of time and operate a computer and other technical equipment via standard input devices such as a keyboard and reading information from a monitor. Able to perform tower climbing and rescue.

Rapidly growing Riverside County Company is looking for an experienced Microwave/Broadcast Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in broadcast and/or microwave engineering.
The Microwave/Broadcast Engineer must have experience with:
-Microwave engineering using Pathloss IV
-Part 101 and Part 74
-ENG systems
-Control systems
-Design of DC power, ancillary hardware, interface equipment, cross connects, and remote control systems
The Microwave/Broadcast Engineer must also be able to:
-Prepare RFQ responses including engineering/design proposals, rack layouts, system design, and ancillary hardware layouts
-Must be able to create BOM's and specify materials to meet system/client/RFQ requirements
-Assist with project management
-Assist with sales
-Create and maintain internal installation and design standards

The Construction Manager:
*Is in charge of planning, budgeting, and directing the construction project.
*Tracks the progress of construction operations such as the arrival and utilization of materials, supplies, tools, machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
*May take care of securing the needed permits and licenses for projects.
*Must be ready to respond to urgent questions , establish priorities, and delegate tasks as necessary.
*Must have a VERY STRONG work ethic, and the desire to deliver excellent customer service!
*Ability to travel between job sites daily is a must; frequent overnight travel or longer is also a must.
*Must be willing to work days/nights/weekends depending on project demands.

TOWER CLIMBERS (top)
Under close supervision, assists with the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of antenna systems, communication towers and support structures. Tower Technicians work irregular hours, work under hazardous conditions, and regularly work under adverse conditions (e.g., high towers, inclement weather, remote sites, etc.) in the performance of the job. Tower Technicians work throughout Southern California, may be required to travel out of state, and must be willing to travel overnight on an as needed basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*Climbs and works on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment; performs tower maintenance
*Must have the physical ability and the willingness to work above ground at excessive heights on towers, rooftops, and equipment such as bucket trucks and/or man lifts
*Effectively utilizes of available resources, technology, and tools to complete work
*Complies with all company policies and procedures as well as additional legal regulatory requirements
*Installs tower foundations and erects towers using construction and rigging equipment
*May fabricate metal support brackets and support structures using welding equipment
*Maintains clean, safe and orderly environment, and adheres to all Company and industry (i.e., OSHA) standards/regulations
*Efficiently prioritizes and performs job requirements and activities based on open communication with the lead or manager
*Develops and maintains of a positive company image, as follows:
*Providing superior customer service ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner
*Adhering to all Company and industry (i.e., OSHA) standards/regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Must be at least 18 years of age

*Comfortable working above ground while utilizing proper safety equipment
