Summary:
Perform construction duties on a daily basis ensuring quality construction for expedited commercial deployment of services as directed by Superintendent and/or Foreman.
Education and/or Experience:
oHigh School diploma or GED required.
o3+ years tower construction background required, preferably telecommunications.
oAble to read blueprints, details and specifications.
oCald-weld or other thermo-weld training helpful.
oAnritsu and/or OSHA certified a plus.
oKnowledge of Test Equipment (sweep gear).
oKnowledge of standard knots, Pass N.A.T.E. Tower Climbers Exam.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
oPerform tower construction activities including assembling/erecting towers, installing antennas, mounting hardware, installing coax and connectors, grounding, testing, positioning, and optimizing antennas and lines.
oRead Plans, Site Plans and Tower Drawings.
oInstall, connect and test underground and above ground grounding systems.
oComplete work in a timely and efficient manner by planning, prioritizing, and mobilizing staff, materials to meet schedule.
oEnsure Foreman is apprised of construction progress, concerns, and deviations from plans or established schedule.
oIdentify all materials and other resources needed to complete project.
oIdentify construction "punch list" of items to be remedied and ensure they are completed prior to customer's inspection.
oMaintain and enforce all SBA and OSHA safety practices, perform daily job-site safety inspections on equipment prior to operation.
oWork with Superintendents and Foreman to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials.
oPerform other related duties as required.

TELECOM CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN/CREW LEADER (top)
The position of Telecommunications Construction Foreman/Crew Leader will be based out of Austin, Texas
Applicant must be knowledgeable of all construction and engineering aspects of a full telecommunications site installation with a minimum of 3 years experience as a team leader
Ability to manage multiple jobs and multiple crews and perform "hands on" installation work
Must be highly skilled at complete tower erection (monopoles, SST's and guyed towers), antenna/coax installation, Anritsu testing, civils installation, complete tower foundation installation, microwave path alignments, rigging, site grounding and site specific material ordering
Ideal candidate is an experienced equipment operator capable of operating any and all equipment required for a full site installation
Responsible for complete "in house QA's" to insure the team's install is 100% prior to client handoff
Must be able to proficiently coordinate and manage all facets of required jurisdictional inspections
Knowledge of Nortel S-8000 and S-12000 BTS equipment is a plus
Excellent computer skills and positive attitude required
Safety is Priority One and Com-training, OSHA regulatory requirements and other applicable company safety compliance is mandatory

LEAD TOWER CLIMBER (top)
Location: Dallas, TX
PURPOSE:  Perform tower-climbing duties including de-installing/installing cable and antennas. Oversee crew activities and be the on site liaison to the customer representative.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:  The Lead Tower Technician will be the point person for field activities as they relate tower climbing, cable and antenna installation.  Tower lead will be responsible for overall crew activities and on site safety.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Review climbing safety parameters with crew members before each job begins
Perform pre-work safety checks on tower and sites and keep log of all issues
Perform physical removal of antennas and cable from towers and building location
Supervise equipment removals by team members and track performance.
Monitor and track inventory of site equipment removed from site locations.
Provide daily reports to management on work performed obtaining all appropriate customer sign offs.
Ensure quality of all worked performed and be responsible for updating on site customer representative.
Transport site personnel, equipment and gear to site locations
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Comtrain tower climber certification or an equivalent level of certification or technical experience
Rescue climbing certification or an equivalent level of certification
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field
Strong understanding of cable installation with Comscope, Andrews and RFS types
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Customer centric skills - must be able to facilitate a technical conversation with the customer.
