Achievements and Skills:
I have worked in high risk, high height situations on a daily basis for over 10 years with no major injuries to myself or any crew I have supervised. On each installation I have kept a good clear line of communication with the cellular customer involved while also fulfilling the needs of my employer. My skills involve over 8 years of crew management. As a supervisor I maintained a company vehicle and all trade tools as well as booking of hotels and any rentals of heavy machinery needed. I am proficient in computer skills, blueprint reading and troubleshooting of on site obstacles encountered.
Over my 10 years in the construction industry I have worked and overseen all aspects of civil construction, from site excavation to trenching for electrical and telephone services. Additionally I have some heavy machinery experience. I have operated many smaller loaders and bobcats and larger track hoe and backhoe machinery.
I have over 9 years experience in tower and steel rigging ranging from actual tower erection to rigging of towers to mounting of appurtenances. This includes air lifting of many towers and larger antennas utilizing helicopter service.
My 9 years experience also includes cellular installations. This involves antenna placement, running coaxial cable, connectorization of said cable, complete antenna system grounding, and weatherproofing of all connections under Andrew corp. standards. I have concrete and masonry skills as well. I have poured 80+ foundations for towers. This includes many 40'x40'x6' pads, pad and pier, and drilled foundations, some up to 40' deep. In addition I have formed and poured 70+ smaller pads for radio equipment shelters and fuel tanks. I have over 9 years of experience in HALO grounding systems and tower grounding under current industry standards. In my 9+ years in the tower industry I have installed countless numbers of lighting systems for towers. This includes running of control wire to top and mid mounted lights as well as wiring each of these units. In addition to the above I am well versed in microwave and 2 way communications and have done many county jobs across New York State, as well as communication installations for the New York State Police and Federal Government.
In recent years I have taken on a higher role with construction management including bid walks and closeout documentation. I am held in high regard in many of the North East markets with most of our larger cellular construction companies. These would include Crown Castle, WFI, SBA, Andrew, Nextel and Verizon to name a few.
